Mommy's Love Nest
Supporting mommies’ mental health through mindful living.
Mommy’s Love Nest’s co-founders:
Cecilia:
Being a mother of a teen and a 6 year old and a primary caretaker of her aging mother (as well as a “recovering” perfectionist), Cecilia has come to appreciate the mental well-being benefits of mindfulness. In fact, it is often the easily accessible (and short) practices that have anchored and helped her to grasp the clarity, focus, calmness, and compassion needed to sail through some of stormiest weathers of life. She appreciates so much of how mindfulness has helped pivot her towards healthier life paths, that she became a certified mindfulness teacher and continues to be a lifelong student of mindfulness. Her primary reason for co-creating Mommy’s Love Nest is to uplift the mental well-being of mommies overwhelmed with the challenges of motherhood. The more mommies she can help and hold space for with her heart led approaches, the happier vibrations she knows she can help ring through our planet.
Linh:
When feeling worried about her unborn baby’s health, Linh puts one hand on her heart, closes her eyes, gets mindful of her breathing, and holds that shivering part of her in empathy and loving-kindness. For a while, the shivering part of her gets soothed. Subsequently, calmness, clarity, and resilience get back to her, helping her to take care of herself and her baby. Day after day, such mindful self-compassion practices have helped Linh befriend mood swings in her pregnancy, mood swings then come and go more quickly, thus she can really enjoy this journey and feel so much love for her baby. Linh is grateful for that, and wishes to share such practices with other mommies. Deep down in her heart, she wishes for all mommies to be loved, and cared, to be physically and mentally healthy, because that’s what they deserve. That is the reason why she co-creates Mommies’ Love Nest with Cecilia.
Event Details
Join us for BAMBI's Me-time Compassion Gathering with Cecilia, called "Meeting Spring."
This session is specifically designed for mothers who are seeking a moment of reflection and renewal. Led by Cecilia, a certified mindfulness teacher, this gathering will guide participants through various mindfulness practices to support their mental health. The aim is to create a safe and nurturing environment where moms can share, interact, connect, and learn at their own pace.
By the end of the session, our hope is that you will feel a sense of lightness and clarity, ready to embrace the new season ahead. Don't miss this opportunity to take a step back, set your direction for the year, and prioritize self-care.
We can't wait to have you join us!
Testimonials
On Oct 9, Mommy's Love Nest's Mindfulness Teacher, Cecilia facilitated a Compassion Gathering for some of the Board Members of BAMBI Bangkok Mothers and Babies International. The topic was "I miss me when I….."
Key take aways many of us could probably agree on are:
1) It is surprising how much we hold in our hearts
2) There are other moms feeling the same
3) We can share more at this intimate level with people we never thought we could
4) It is so nice to have people see, hear and validate us
As this is a me-time event for adults only, there will be no facilities available at the venue for children.
Photos may be taken by our photographers and event leaders at BAMBI events and activities.
